    A custom mending kit made in-house by our designer using upcycled organic cotton scraps from our production runs. The kit includes two steel sashiko needs, an adjustable brass thimble, and Tex 400 cotton sashiko thread--all bundled in an organic cotton pouch made from 10oz GOTS certified organic cotton twill or duck canvas.

    Packaged and shipped in a 100% recycled, biodegradable mailer that is curbside recyclable and industrially compostable (check with your local industrial composter).


    Care
    - For undyed items, expect approximately 5% shrinkage, mainly in length
    - Wash cold using a natural, pH neutral detergent
    - Hang dry

    We intentionally construct our products with materials, such as organic cotton, that will biodegrade over time. Cotton thread, in particular, is not as strong as thread made from synthetic fibers, so repairs are a natural part of the garment’s lifecycle.
