CARE
Washing
We recommend hand-washing (or machine washing on delicate) our undyed products with cold water and a natural, pH neutral detergent that is verified by the Environmental Working Group, a non-profit, non-partisan organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. Expect 3-5% shrinkage, mainly in length.

Because our naturally dyed items are pH sensitive, we recommend washing them separately in cold water using a pH neutral soap, and carefully reading the ingredient lists on any natural personal care products that could interact with the dye. Stains created by alkaline substances tend to disappear after washing; acidic substances are more likely to create permanent stains. We suggest soaking an item with an acid stain in cold water as soon as possible.

Store naturally dyed items away from direct sunlight. Long term exposure to UV can darken and/or lighten a color, depending on the dye used.

Drying
We recommend hang-drying our garments: wovens can be hung on a hanger or a garment rack; knits should be hung on a garment rack or laid flat on a towel to dry.

Storage
Please store all of our items in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Wovens can be hung or folded; knits should be folded.

COMPOSTING AND DISPOSAL
Composting
Please do not throw away our products, packaging, or tags. All of our materials (including those used for packaging and tagging) are curbside recyclable and/or compostable. You can locate an industrial composter near you via Find a Composter; if you do not live near one, the Rodale Institute, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to growing the organic movement, has an easy-to-follow home composting guide.

Donation and Disposal
If you are considering donating one of our items, please thoroughly review the organization you plan to donate to before doing so. While some organizations do get clothing to people in need, many donated clothes end up in landfills or are sold overseas where they may undercut domestic manufacturers in developing countries.

If you need help caring for or rehoming one of our products, please contact us at info@allweremember.com.
