In celebration of our fifth anniversary, we've teamed up with Blue in Green, one of our favorite retailers on planet Earth to create a limited edition iteration of our Classic Tee.

Inspired by shared love of indigo and shibori, the form of Japanese resist dyeing, the t-shirt features a fusion of our logos on the front and a shibori graphic on the back, both screen-printed in Philadelphia using plant-derived organic indigo ink. Each t-shirt is cut and sewn in the USA from a subtly variegated 5.75 organic cotton jersey and constructed without side seams using a circular knitting machine.

The indigo extract for the screen-printing ink comes from a farm in South India that practices sustainable growing methods. After extraction, the wastewater and composted leaves are returned to the field to feed the next crop. Both the indigo and the ink are certified organic by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS).
