Join us at Cloth + Home in Evanston, IL on Saturday, September 30th from 10:30am-1pm for a natural mending workshop and private shopping event. Beverages and light bites will be available.
During the workshop, we will run participants through the basics of mending with natural materials, including running, whip, and sashiko-inspired stitching techniques and how to sew on a button. No prior sewing experience is required.

We intentionally construct our products with materials, such as organic cotton, that will biodegrade over time. Cotton thread, in particular, is not as strong as thread made from synthetic fibers, so repairs are a natural part of the garment’s lifecycle. For questions or concerns on repairing an item, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
