The 6-Pocket Drawstring Pant is somewhere between a trouser and a pull-on pant, and can be dressed up or down due to its soft shape, relaxed mid-rise waist and leg, and subtle design details. Cut from a workwear-weight 10.4oz colorgrown cotton herringbone that derives its name and subtly flecked appearance from natural pigments found in the cotton, the pant approaches the drape and hand-feel of a knit while maintaining the sturdiness of a woven. Highlighted by our proprietary LICHENIZED drawstring, which adjusts through the slotted button on the waist and features a looped end to attach and stash a karabiner or pair of keys in the front right in-seam thigh pocket.
For our dyeing, we've partnered with local natural dyer Amy Taylor, who has hand-dipped each of our garments in a “working horse” vat made up of natural indigo, soda ash, and thiourea dioxide in her Chicago studio.
