    The Olson Hand-knit Beanie is one of our first two wool items and is crafted in collaboration with our assistant designer Shelby Olson. Hand-knit by Olson in Chicago using deadstock natural brown Peruvian highland wool, the beanie features a 2 x 1 rib knit construction and a cuffed brim. 

    This item is made-to-order. Please allow 2-4 weeks for production.

    Packaged and shipped in a 100% recycled, biodegradable mailer that is curbside recyclable and industrially compostable (check with your local industrial composter).


    Care
    - For undyed items, expect approximately 5% shrinkage, mainly in length
    - Wash cold using a natural, pH neutral detergent
    - Hang dry

    We intentionally construct our products with materials, such as organic cotton, that will biodegrade over time. Cotton thread, in particular, is not as strong as thread made from synthetic fibers, so repairs are a natural part of the garment’s lifecycle.
